Dodge Challenger Trans Am 1970
The purpose of these pages are 1) to collect information for Dodge Challenger 1970 T/A restoration (links, pictures material etc.) 2) document our project car as restoration blog.
As you can see on a first project blog post, the project car was partially stripped, some parts were missing and paint job was on primer. Main goal is to bring car to it's original shape. Maybe not 100% pure restoration, but as close as it can on a reasonable level. For example matching number wheels with matching date stamps might be too much. But era correct style repro wheels can be enough. So supporting documentation and advisory is necessary for completing this project - that's why I'm collecting restoration links.
These cars are getting more rare and there are not too many survivor cars left. Over the years, previous owners (or their mechanics) might have made some changes or customizations. Using multiple sources of information (ICCA manuals and Factory Shop Manual), asking Mopar Enthusiastics (like moparts.org), reviewing other T/A projects can give precious information for your own project. I hope that these pages can encourage you to start your own restoration.
